The Indonesia Wantilan structure,  is the inspiration behind the construction of Lila Bamboo Villa. It has 3 floors and was built with the traditional Balinese architecture, which includes sustainable materials such as bamboo, thatches, and river stones.

The philosophy behind Lila Bamboo Villa is in service towards Humanity and Environmentally friendly building with consciousness to serve the people where we live, to live in good health, balance and clean life with no obstruction of the energy. Lila Bamboo was constructed in order to serve the old Bali. The villa uses bamboo for its main pillars.  These strongs, well selected and preserved big bamboos hold and support the floors.

The villa is furnished with some of Indonesian ethnics furniture .

The main bedroom is located on the 2nd floor. It has 1 queen size bed with  a unique wooden bed with flower motif in shell as well as  the  shelves. Poulsen designed the motif in accordance with flowers she saw in her dream.

The room is decorated with many unique and antique furnitures and home items. It has big sliding glass windows that brings in the fresh prana/oxygen. Its unique bath, a walk in shower , a giant shell sink, and a walk in closet.

The first floor has 2 spacious bedrooms, living room with dark bamboo flooring, and nice veranda with light bamboo flooring.

Alix’s room is furnished with a queen size bed, a unique Dayak Carved panel is decorating the room, a wooden desk with its antique desk light, a walk in closet with old Javanese wooden door. A spacious walk in shower decorated with dark stones with its big broken white stone sink.

Sofi’s room is furnished with a queen size bed, colourful pillows, wooden desk , a walk in closet with antique Javanese wooden door. White stones decorated walk in shower with its giant shell sink.

Both rooms have big glass sliding windows that allows fresh Prana/oxygen to flows in and out freely.

The living room is decorated with many Indonesian ethnic accessories including Dayak table .  This spacious room has a day bed with colourful pillows and clothes on it.

Ground floor, the kitchen is open and wide with its fire place.  It was built with river stone. The well equipped kitchen including stove for baking. The kitchen serves the wide range of food from raw food, Balinese, Indonesian, and International food.

A spacious living room on the first floor has big bamboo sofa and big nice wooden dining table.

The alley connecting the kitchen with dining and living room, there lays a big stone table.

The compound is surrounded by traditional Balinese mud wall. The road inside the compound is built with river stones. Accompany by the palm trees along the road. Small River flows down there as the border of the land.

A land rover jeep with its driver is ready to take you wherever you want to go.

The villa comes with a spacious dining area with two dining tables that are adequate for sixteen adults to sit and have the meals. The dining area is situated close to the swimming pool that is approximately 160 cm in depth and around 10 meters in length and 6 meters in width. The pool itself is directly viewing the vast green rice paddies field on the right side of the villa. To enjoy the relaxing scenery of the surrounding even more, a small table with four chairs is set up just at the corner of the pool getting even closer to the rice paddies area. To feel more like being at home, this villa also provides a back yard garden with some mint plantations, tomatoes, chilies and other organic vegetable plantations. These are usually freshly picked and used to supply the ingredients needed for the cook to serve the delicate meals for you who are staying at this home.

 

This compound villa “best known as the HOME” has total two separate buildings, the first building has the office room that is normally used by the owners and if the whole villa is rented then this office space will be locked. Sitting next to the office is the fully equipped kitchen area where the delectable meals for breakfasts, lunches or even dinners freshly cooked and served at the dining table close to the kitchen. Situated close to the kitchen is the first bedroom in the first building, the first bedroom itself has a king size bed, standing fan, and a bathroom completed with the bathtub with shower and toilet. Climbing some stair steps to the first floor, you will find the media room completed with some sofas, LCD TV with the DVD and many movies both in soft copy files and CD’s, this media will be totally used privately if the whole property is rented, but if you rent only a single room then you will need to share the dining area, pool as well as the media area to watch with the other guests. On this first floor, there is also another bedroom (the second bedroom of the first building) with its king size bed, the standing fan, bathroom with the bathtub and shower as well as toilet. Right in front of the room, there is a gazebo over viewing the rice paddies and jungle view in the distance, then just climbing some stairs up to the second floor, you will have a terrace where in the brightly clear sky you could let your sight roaming far in the distance to see the magnificent Agung mountain “the highest mountain in Bali”.

 

Moving on to the second building, there are also the other two bedrooms available to rent. The first bedroom with its king size bed, the sofa bed which two adults can sleep on, the bathroom in the first bedroom completed with the bathtub, shower and the toilet. Similar with the first bedroom the second bedroom also comes with bathtub with only difference is the absence of the shower. Climbing up the stairs to the first floor on the second building, there is a gazebo and wide enough terrace to enjoy the surrounding view from the height, the first floor on the second building is actually the owners’ private area. However, if the whole complex is rented then the owners would probably consider moving temporarily. On this floor there is also one gazebo that can be set up very cozy and comfy in the daytime to lie down a bit while reading a book or just refreshing the eyes with the green surrounding. There are two rooms available on this level; the first one is normally occupied by the owners and the other one is extra room that can be set up as the twin bedroom.

Being Built surrounded by the rice paddies, Griya Atma is the four bedrooms villa situated just by the side of Villa Griya Aditi, these two villas can actually be rented altogether as the whole seven bedrooms. The phrase Griya Atma means “The Abode of the Soul” in Sanskrit, and this villa is located in the friendly village of Tengkulak Kelod, just ten minutes away southern part of Ubud. Overlooking a landscape of rice fields and forest, the guests would definitely find calm and relaxation during the stay, while you are only a short drive away from the cultural and artistic experience of Ubud and nearby villages.

A family room faces the back garden with a fish and turtle pond. Children love to play in the family room, in times of rain. All rooms have air conditioning and fan. The kitchen is used for final preparation of the dishes before serving. It has a refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a water dispenser. The swimming pool is tiled with natural stones coming from Java. The Bale Bengong is a place where you can relax or get a traditional massage. The garden faces more than 1 km uninterrupted rice fields, with a small temple on the right side.
