We discovered the magical piece of earth that is now Big Love in 2008 and instantly fell in love with its constantly changing jungle, it’s relentlessly burbling river, its continuously moving big sky, its infinite paddy-field panoramas, its interminably spectacular sunsets and its extraordinarily special energy.

In the midst of this outrageous nature and as carefully and conscientiously as we could, we spent the next decade creating Big Love, in harmony with its organic environment and with meticulous, painstaking attention to every detail. Learning to live in unison with it was a choice we made to seek a more organic, humane and creative way of life for ourselves, our family and everyone else who happened to drop by.

Today Big Love offers:

• 4 individually designed and uniquely beautiful suite rooms. All are extremely spacious and comfortable, offering private spaces both inside and out, fabulous views and outdoor bathrooms.
• A fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with polished granite counter tops, stainless steel shelving and a green ocean-stone floor.  We are serious about food and the kitchen is at the heart of everything at Big Love
• Both indoor and outdoor living and dining areas, each carefully positioned to best appreciate our magnificent views and thoughtfully accessorised with a selection of the estate’s collection of antique and reclaimed furniture and tribal art.
• A 20m pool complete with deck and bale.  Exercise, cool-down or find a comfortable spot from which to soak in the sweeping panorama of endless sky, paddy fields and volcanos.  The bale is also a perfect place for reading, reflecting or taking in one of our signature Big Love sunsets.
• A secluded yoga studio with an extensive hardwood floor, mirrored walls and a stunning view
• A dedicated art room for the creatively minded and the creative wannabes.   The studio space is communal, the inspiration is free.
• Extensive gardens:  Nature is everywhere at Big Love and we quickly become one with her ebb and flow. We live without shoes with the earth at our feet and we have created many special spots from which to reflect, meditate and commune.

Monitor lizards, our three resident Labrador retrievers, two cats, one Bali dog and some very important bugs prowl our perimeter. Tropical flora give off intoxicating aromas and thousands of cicadas mark the end of our day.
